Hail and well met nerds, geeks, and dorks. August here. I hope you all are doing well.

Today I do not have an art piece, but instead an announcement. Earlier today, I passed my belt test at my martial arts class. I’m now a first-degree red belt! But that’s not the best part. My certificate has my actual name on it, not my dead name! This is crazy to me because of where I live and blows me away how nice my martial arts teacher was about it. I’d show a picture, but it has quite a bit of personal info.

Sorry about the rant! There will be art tomorrow. So in the meantime, remember, you’re going to be amazing. Look to the stars. Aim. Ignite!
